I've had a sick boy on my hands for a few days now. Cade's been battling his allergies pretty steady for the past month or so. With it getting increasingly worse over the past week and developing a cough, Mickey took him to the doc on Monday. Poor kid had a sinus infection and his right ear is infected. Cade got tubes put in both ears in January 2009, which put a stop to the constant ear infections. However, at his 2-year appointment last month, Dr. Helen said his right tube had shifted, so it might not work like it should. Guess it's not. Poor kid. Hope this doesn't mean Round 2 of steady ear infections has begun.
So Sunday was a pretty mopey/whiney/fevery day for the boy and all he wanted to do was watch Finding Nemo. (*Note - Finding Nemo is ALL he ever wants to watch... like 24/7... It's to the point he recites the words. Sheesh. Can't Disney come out with another fish movie? LOL)
Anyhoo... Here's a couple pics of my sickie boy curled up in the recliner watching his fave movie.
For supper he wanted "Olies". (aka Raviolis - He still likes the Gerber Graduates Raviolis that don't have the sauce on them. I think they're gross, but if he eats them... it's fine with me. Plus, they have veggies in them, so can't go wrong there!) And he also wanted to sit in Mommy's chair at the table. (He's still in a high chair mostly. We tried to put him in a booster seat at the table, but he won't sit still and eat, so we switched back to the high chair for a while.)
After being on antibiotics for a few days, he's feeling mucho better. I'm so glad... sick kiddos are no fun!!

I will have to send you a pic of the booster type-seat we use with Judson. His legs got too long a while back to use the highchair so we had to go with something that comes apart all the way. It locks to keep him in it and it attaches to a regular chair. You can take it to eat out too.
We have been battling the same thing! Poor kiddos! Jentry is FINALLY getting over her's. Judson was over his about the time her's kicked in!
