Here's a story for ya. Normally, moms share stories about how their babies climb out of their cribs. But me, well, I tell stories about my baby climbing IN to his crib. Saturday morning, it was business as usual in the Belew household. I had locked myself in the bathroom to clean, Mickey was watching golf on TV, and Cade was running around like a wild man. I hear Cade start whining for his Ry-Ry (pacifier) and it's near naptime, but Mickey was trying to put him off and kept telling him "No, you don't need a Ry-Ry."
This is what I hear from the bathroom.
"Ry-Ry!! Waaa-Waaaa!! Ry-Ry!!"
"No, it's not quite nap time, not yet."
"RY-RY!! RY-RY!! WAAAAAA!!!"
"NOT YET!!"
................silence..................
"Oh my gosh, Anna, come here, HURRY!!!!"
So I come busting out of the bathroom and see Mickey standing in Cade's room with his mouth hanging open and Cade is jumping up and down in his crib with a Ry-Ry in his mouth and a Ry-Ry in each hand.
"Whaaaaa?"
"He got in there by himself! How did he do that?"
So what'd we do next?
Took Cade out of the crib, threw all the Ry-Ry's back in the crib and told him to go get one. So he grabs the bars, pulls himself up so his feet are on his bumper pads, kind of does a little jump-shimmy thing so he gets his belly over the top bar, and flops in head first.
YEAH! Scary!!!
Sooooo, now Cade's mattress is at the absolute lowest level, with no bumper pad across the front.
No fear, I tell ya, no fear.
And because no blog is complete without pics.....
Who is this clown in my back yard?

It's a little Cader Clown!!! LOL
