Cade's new 'Do!

As you will remember, my sweet little pumpkin has always sported the shaggy look like this.

But mommy decided it was time for a new 'do since it's hot and he sweats a lot under all that hair. He had one other traditional "little boy" hair cut when he was 11 months old and I broke down and cried afterwards. Seriously. All his precious little curls were gone! So we grew it back out and have only trimmed it since then. But with the summer heat and a trip to the coast coming up, I thought he'd be more comfortable with shorter locks.

So, after a trip to the hair cutting place, my little pumpkin now looks like this.

Awwwwww! I know, cute, huh? And I didn't even cry this time!

This kid loooooooves to eat a "hocle", aka popsicle.

I also finished Cade's Family Book. I took pictures of all our immediate family and put them in a photo album with labels with everybody's names. I think with all his cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents and great-grandparents he has over 30 pictures! He absolutely loves this book. He likes to point and call out everybody's names as he flips through the pages.

And just a random picture... further proof of why I am getting more wrinkles and gray hair by the day. "Look ma! No hands!"

And my sweet sleeping baby. I loooooove sleeping baby pictures. I only have about a million of them!

Oh wow i LOVE his new haircut.. i really like short hair on little boys... i just cant handle it when the hair starts touching the ears lol.. weston doesnt have a chance to let his grow until he starts telling me he wants it longer.
