I took the boys over to the July 4th Parade in Stephenville Saturday morning. Cade was really too little last year to care much for the parade, but this year he LOVED it! He loved all the firetrucks and floats... and all the CANDY! He sat with Ryan for a long time before he figured out he could go gather up candy that was thrown his way.
Cade was totally locked in on something and was not going to smile for a picture. At least Ryan was a willing participant.

After the parade it was just a lazy day for us. Mickey and TJ donated their money entered a roping in Stephenville and we popped in to say hi that afternoon for about 30 minutes. Instead of hanging out in the sweltering heat, Cade and I opted to go swimming and have dinner with Mo-Mo and Pops. No fireworks for us, though, Cade was pooped out and asleep by 8:30! Maybe next year.

Next year, y'all can come out to the country and watch our fireworks... When Mack dances to shake the sparks off his clothes, it's the best show in the world!
