Christmas Day celebrations

Phew! This blog should have Christmas all caught up!

Christmas Day Cade and I made it back to Dublin a little after lunch. We had opened presents at Memaw Belew's house, but unfortunately I forgot to take in my camera. :(

After we left Memaw's house, we went home and guess what............ Santa left Cade more presents at home!!! He must have been a good boy this year!!

He LOVES his trains! Even makes the "choo-choo" noises!

And REALLY LOVES his new "firefighter boots." I don't think he's worn another pair of shoes since Christmas!

Memaw got Cade a new rope. He's been getting roping lessons from Dad. He's still pretty dangerous with the rope!

We were supposed to go to my Dad's house on Christmas Day evening, but since the weather had been bad, we decided to just wait and go the next day. My Canadian relatives (Kari's sister and parents) flew in to Dallas on Christmas Eve. Unfortunately, they couldn't get home due to the weather, so Dad, Bob and them stayed overnight at a hotel near the airport.

We had such a wonderful Christmas this year! Even though things didn't work out exactly as we had planned because of the weather, we still had a blessed and full Christmas!!
